cDESP & PV ESP 2026: Our Tools Already Compliant with CTP 2026 for ESP Compliance

CTP 2026 is out: the regulation has changed
The Professional Technical Booklet on in-service monitoring of refrigeration pressure systems was updated on 8 April 2026 (BSERR decree no. 2026-002 of 17 April 2026). New obligations concern inspection plans, high-pressure pressure switches, additional controls, and the formalism of approvals.
For operators, maintainers, and authorised bodies, this means rethinking compliance processes. Without delay, DCRR has immediately updated its tools so that your installations remain compliant from today.
🛡️ cDESP: CTP 2026 compliance built in natively
cDESP is already 100% compliant with CTP 2026. The platform esp.dcrr.fr has been updated to integrate all new provisions, transparently for our users.
Updates included:
- 📋 Automatic transposition of numbering via Annex XIII (CTP 2020 ↔ CTP 2026 correspondence)
- 📝 Inspection plan approval request template in Annex X format
- 🔍 New control points: heat exchanger corrosion (E.13), thermostat chain, exhaustiveness audit (A.5.3.3)
- 🚫 Pressure switches excluded per section E.12.3 (compressors, outside ESP scope, duplicated with safety valve)
- 📚 AFIAP / AQUAP 99/13 classification replacing abrogated technical sheets
The result? Nothing to do on your side. Your regulatory file on esp.dcrr.fr is already aligned with CTP 2026. You continue working with your habits, while remaining compliant.
📊 PV ESP: your free control reports
PV ESP is the control report generation tool for refrigeration ESPs, made freely available by DCRR. Accessible at dcrr-pv-esp.vercel.app, it has also been updated for CTP 2026.
This online tool lets you fill out a multi-step form and generate a complete control report for each production group:
- ✅ Non-condensables test
- ✅ Heat exchanger fouling check
- ✅ High-pressure pressure switch setting and control
- ✅ Safety element certification
Free access, no registration, no commitment. Use it as many times as needed, for your field interventions.

| Section correspondence | No reference | Annex XIII (transposition table) | Auto import in cDESP |
| Exchanger control | Not specified | Water-side corrosion check (E.13) | New point in PV ESP |
| HP pressure switches | Trip test only | Measurement + setting of trip point | New section in PV ESP |
| Intervention classification | CTP sheets no. 8, 9, 11 | AFIAP / AQUAP 99/13 guides | Overhaul in cDESP |
